It’s not my fault
Hello? Umm hello? Is this thing even working? Nothing on this ship has gone right from the moment I got on board. The cheese tastes like plastic, I think I have mime in my hair. And to top it all off my symmetry is off. So I need to know who to do I register a complaint with? I was promised a new planet to live on, and all I have gotten is this amazing podcast. Why are you reading this? Have you not already listened to the show? Stop, stop now, look up and hit that subscribe button. This show and the wonderful people behind it are worth every second of your day to listen. Every new episode is amazing, and they treat the community that follows them so engaged and happy. The cast gets better every episode, the story plays fast and loose with sci fi conventions in the best and funniest ways and at 15 minutes an episode knows how to leave you wanting more. Funniest Show in the Galaxy
This show is an absolute delight. The characters are all unique, engaging, and have no idea what they are doing. The writing is tight and clever with plenty of silly moments thrown in throughout. The sound design and production is top notch and even their art is a welcomed sight. This is the kind of show where you can never choose a favorite character because they are all your favorite. 10/10, would highly recommend.

Completely mesmerizing!
Ok I’ve had to update my review mostly because I feel I hadn’t experienced enough of it when I posted initially: THIS SHOW IS AMAZING AND AWESOME!! I am totally in love with all of the characters – even the assassin who’s name I don’t dare try to spell or pronounce lol. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for new episodes and have listened to it three times in introducing it to my kids and friends. Keep up the great work!!❤️

Not usually a fan of story type podcasts, but…
I’m addicted to this show. It’s witty, clever, and kinda reminds me of a more disorganized crew of the Firefly. Getting kinda bummed I’m close to catching up on episodes and will have to start waiting with everyone else for new releases. You must listen.

Consistently engaging, always a delight
This isn’t a small thing to write: Oz 9 should be developed into as many entertainment vehicles as its creator and writers would allow, because it’s one of the best Audio Drama Sci-fi comedies I’ve ever heard. I grew up on Red Dwarf, the Hitchhiker’s Guide, and so many other, more serious depictions of space travel… and this stands with them, right now.
Phenomenally acted, lovingly produced, this is high art. I’d buy every graphic novel, read each story, watch every video, and still download and listen to each episode until the laugh lines in my face deepen enough to hide a few of Oz 9’s crew within them. Amazing stuff.

100% Awesome
This show is totally awesome. The character development over the first season conveys a cast with their own quirks and hilarious shortcomings. The French assassin and the ship’s AI are unique and, for me, steal every scene. I hope they – and this podcast – are around for a long time to come.

Quirky and bizarre fun
This is my favorite podcast next to Welcome to Nightvale. It gets funnier the more I listen to it. From the condescending and apologetic aI, to the janitor with a freaky ability to blend into the background, I find myself getting wrapped up in the drama of average idiots trying to stay alive when it seems like everything and everyone is out to get them. Haven’t we all felt like that?

Jesus!!!
An excellent short-format sci-fi comedy audio drama. Man, that is a lot of adjectives. Oz-9 is well written and performed. The sound design is generally good, though sometimes the sound effects can be a bit grating. I am only about 19 episodes in, but the story so far is engaging and the characters are great. Especially Oliva. I love Olivia.

Wonderfully Absurd!

Genius level understanding of the ridiculous
OZ-9 is a ridiculously-brilliantly ridiculous podcast. If you ever wondered what would happen if Douglas Adams obtained genetic material from The Monty Python Characters and The Red Dwarf Crew, mixed them together with a pinch of Mr Bean, threw them in a 1960s sci-fi ship and launched them into space…give OZ-9 a listen. It appeals to intellectual humor, sarcastic humor, slapstick humor, and 8-year-old boy humor. Something for almost everyone. If you want scientific accuracy and genuine accents, move along. Otherwise, sit back and be prepared to laugh your bum off. 🙂
